What is kuwait terrain?

Kuwait's terrain is predominantly desert, consisting of sand and gravel plains, with areas of rugged hills and relatively fertile coastal plains. The country is largely covered by a flat desert plain that gradually slopes down towards the Persian Gulf. The desert terrain is interrupted by a few oases and small mangrove forests along the shore. The highest point in the country is an unnamed hill located near the border with Saudi Arabia, which reaches an elevation of 306 meters (1,004 feet). Despite being a desert country, Kuwait has a few small bodies of water, including a few shallow lakes and an extensive network of water channels and lagoons along the coast. The landscape in Kuwait is largely shaped by the extreme aridity and harsh climatic conditions, which have led to the formation of desert sand dunes, salt flats, and rocky outcrops. The country experiences very hot and dry summers, and cold winters, with occasional rainfall. The natural resources present in Kuwait's terrain include oil, gas, and minerals.
